Soprano
Biography
Inbal Brill is a member of the Meitar Opera Studio, The Israeli Opera's young artists program, since October 2021. She completed her Bachelor and Master degrees in Larissa Tetuev’s class in The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. She also completed a Bachelor degree in choir conducting in the class of Prof. Stanley Sperber.
She won the 1st prize of the Schneider competition (2020, The Jerusalem Opera) and the 2nd prize of JAMD competition. Sang with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette Orchestra, Meitar ensemble and more.
Her operatic repertoire includes Inez in Il trovatore (Verdi, The Israeli Opera), Norina in Don Pasquale (Donizetti, Meitar Opera Studio) Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Mozart, Meitar Opera Studio), Rusalka in Rusalka (Dvořak, Jerusalem Lyric Opera Studio), Anne Trulove in The Rake’s progress (Stravinsky, Meitar Opera Studio),Countess Almaviva and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart, JAMD), Hanna in Die Lustige Witwe (Lehar, Jerusalem Lyric Opera Studio), Eve in Cain, overo il primo omicidio (Scarlatti, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra), Annina in La Traviata (Verdi, The Jerusalem Opera), Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart, 2021, Jerusalem Lyric Opera Studio), the main role of Guillot in Le Mariage aux lanternes and Gontran in Une éducation manquée (Offenbach and Chabrier, The Jerusalem Opera), Lea and Hagar in Mothers (David Sebba, JAMD), And more.
Her concert repertoire includes Sieben frühe Lieder (Berg), Petite messe solennelle (Rossini), Mignon Lieder (Wolf), A Midsummer Night's Dream and Psalm 42 (Mendelssohn), Liebeslieder Waltzes (Brahms) and more.
She also performed many premieres of contemporary pieces by Israeli composers, alongside some major pieces of modern music such as Pierrot Lunaire (Schonberg) and temA (Helmut Lachenmann).
